With Savitar defeated and all being back to semi normal Barry and Kristen jumped at the chance to escape and decompress away from prying eyes. Just like the prior year they ended up in Coast City, the alibi was they had time off to use up. The Flash and Madam Archivist were on vacation and they could just be Barry and Kristen, cute lovebirds.

The night they arrived had been sky high emotional, all they could do between tear fits and a late night heart to heart/decompression marathon was cuddle and make out. But with the rawness of the last few weeks out of the way they could breath and be normal, complete with cuteness. So cue Kristen's heels gracefully clicking around the carpet of their hotel room,"Pizza with everything, 2 bags of Big Belly Burger and a bag from Taco Bell. AKA I hit everything within a 5 minute walk!" dropping the bags, box and 2 6 packs atop the bed. A box of doughnuts joined the pile of food soon after.

And in another tiny first she was not in a skirt but skinny jeans.

Barry had been taking a moment to daydream while his girlfriend had gone to hunt down enough food for an army aka "Flash's brunch" He came back to himself with a start. "Well Coast City does kind of imply tourists," Barry says turning around. He is getting better. HR's death was going to always hurt and yet Barry was grateful to him for sacrificing himself for Kristin.

Barry was going to do whatever he could to live up to that and he started by walking over and kissing his wife to be happily. "I love you..and not just because you brought me food."

The simple yet elegant ring on Kristen's slim hand was a sign they had indeed taken a step closer to marriage. Since they still had ghosts to stare down properly a promise ring was simply the next logical step and she loved that marriage was even on the table. "Tourists means loads of options within walking distance right?" opening one bag to get napkins and fishing the bottle opener from her purse. In the process she has a return kiss for Barry,"And I love you even more my Flash." pure affection and love in her voice. "Also called in, the hens are at bay till next week. Also touched base with Star City and New York, everyone is safe and only real problem besides Felicity's sprained ankle is Thea catching a summer cold of all things." adding updates since she knows how Barry worries.
